Car Accident: High speed chase ends with driver hitting bus

It seems there is no end to the things people are capable of doing without the awareness of other people's safety. There was a high speed chase and the driver stole a minivan and raced through several neighboring towns before being taken into custody. Apparently the thief lost control of the vehicle due to ice on the roads and slammed into a pole. You can see the video below.

So something really funny I read today just goes to show our progress in terms of personal injury cases. This story relates specifically to a car accident case where the victim received compensation about 6 years after sustaining the injuries. Apparently the insurance company hired investigators to monitor this Abbotsford man to prove that he was faking the injury. Paradoxically the videos proved no such claim, but they did show proof that the people videotaping were engaged in risky driving behaviors.

Another Snow Storm hits New England

So I got the news that New York City is already under snow and as I look outside my window I can see that New England hasn't felt the beginning of the storm yet. The last snow storm had activities, schools, and permit parking privileges canceled. Well folks, there is a foot of snow expected later this evening and I'm expected some trouble on the roadways as people commute home from work.

The snow should be reaching Boston in a few hours and when that happens it's going to be a beautiful snow day in winter.
